I'm amazed there's two mobile auto runner games derived from a well established Platformer game. Super Mario Run and Super Meat Boy Forever.
And from these two titles alone, you'd think the indie game is the more fun, challenging and cool one which understands the medium by its core and makes it a better option against the corporate slop.
But no.........
I played Super Meat Boy Forever and it was the most miserable shit ever, I gave it an opportunity three times and it failed every single one of them, while Super Mario Run I recently bought it for $3 bucks and it is so much fun and slightly challenging (Not to the point of Super Meat Boy Forever, but that game is another can of worms) but, my god... I'm just amazed. The departure of Edmund McMillen from team meat really made the franchise take a hit for the worse, and now I see why McMillen does not do sequels.

On top of that Super Mario Run still gets updates
