Hey, guys, just a quick update, I won't have Commissions open until further notice. My Paypal account has been compromised, someone tried to enter my account (I managed to change my password and set a 2FA) but then random people have been sending me money to my account, I have literally been playing this game of money I receive, money I refund or cancel the transaction, and because of this I just can't accept commission money for the time being and I'll only be able to close my account until the 25th of December according to Paypal customer support... In the meantime I'll look for alternatives to paypal, but, tbh, I just want to kill myself right now. God... I didn't even sleep well last night because the money I get sent are big sums of money that in all honestly, it scares me that I might get in trouble because of this, I dunno how they got my account to make money laundering or some shit, but I am so tired and scared...

Sigh, anyway, yeah, that's that... Also apologies for the lack of art recently, I have been sick, tired and in a bad mood these last days, and this situation isn't helping. Hope you understand, I might just do a pending comm I have, and art for collabs I entered to and just that for the rest of the year, cuz honestly, fuck this.

Hey, everyone. Sick Garbager here. as you know (or not), my birthday was on November 15th and on the 11th I asked folks, just for funsies, to draw a simple sketch of Ragatha. I did not get Simple sketches at all.

Thanks again to everyone who sent me a drawing, I cherish all the pieces with all my heart. After that on the 16th and 17th, people kept sending me Ragathas, enough to make a second collague, but, as this happened I got sick and also couldn't figure out for the life of me how to put lewd drawings next to a one made by a minor... So, I figured I'd just give a shout out to these fine folks.

Hello, everyone. I come here to answer a question no one asked, yet I want to give the answer to. As many of you know, Newgrounds ain't my main thing, but it is where I grow the most, so let me do a little segway to say... Thank you!

Now to the question, the answer is simple, I post on Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky aaaand here. Also on Facebook, but I know only my old ass posts there in my personal account for my closest friends. Now, here's the catch, I also have SFW and NSFW versions of places that allow pornographic content to be posted, mostly Bluesky, Twitter and Newgrounds... BUT THERE'S ALSO A CATCH... Believe it or not, I have PRIOOOOORITIES in where I post, so that's the main focus of this post. This is basically me telling you "I got these social network accounts, but, you should check here instead if you want this or that" instead of just posting my links on my posts. See it as an open invitation to check my stuff in other places but also to let you know why I prefer [THIS] instead of [THAT], Okay?

Before we begin a thing to consider, I want to keep this post M-rated, as I want this to reach more people, so I won't link my NSFW accounts, you search for it yourself, it is not hard to stumble upon them (Hint hint profile hint hint).

If you want NSFW art:

• Newgrounds - Here is your safe bet and BEST BET! All of my NSFW and SFW stuff is here. All archived nicely, with alt versions properly visible in the same post, and at times, I put some extra stuff and insight on the development of individual pieces in my ART THREAD.
• Twitter (NSFW) - Safe Bet, Low Priority! Here I post under the name Akuma Taro, a handle I adopted as I wanted to separate my SFW stuff from my NSFW content even further, the only drawback of checking my art here is that, since the Twitter team and Elon Musk implemented AI, as an artist I am trying to defend myself from getting my art used for generative AI programs without my permission, so I first put my pieces on Glaze, and since my PC ain't the best, it takes around 45 minutes to glaze the pic completely, this is even worse when I make alt versions, like that recent Vanilla the Rabbit piece I did. So you might see stuff posted a few hours or a day later than Newgrounds and Bluesky... Speaking of Bluesky...
• Bluesky (NSFW) - Errrmmm.... High Priority? Tsssss... Yeah.... While both Newgrounds and Bluesky have higher priorities for me than Twitter now... Well...

This is just sad, man....

So, while I don't have to worry about AI and all... Yeah, I personally don't like how this looks at all... As a little method for overriding this, I quote pieces with pics. But this is such an unnecessary workaround which asks more from me... So yeah, if you want NSFW just check my shit here or on Twitter.

• Rule 34 Tag - I GOT ONE! It is outdated tho... In case you were unaware, I myself post my own content on Rule 34, I do this to avoid any other person posting it there and also for people to go check my twitter and Newgrounds account as at times, people don't properly put the sources, also to tailor it myself as sometimes there's pieces I am not proud of, there was this incident years ago where people posted very old shit I was ashamed of and I got insulted there, that broke my confidence a little. Anyway, my tag at the moment is not updated, basically I haven't had time to post my own stuff and to add the "AKUMA TARO" tag to my posts, I guess to keep it consistent I'll tag both Akuma Taro and TheGarbager619 accounts, I mean, in the end y'all there know it's me :)

If you want SFW art:

• Newgrounds - Just filter my stuff! I encourage anyone who doesn't like my erotic content to filter my stuff, I try to properly tag my stuff always, so maybe put out A and M just in case, in A are sex pieces or pornographic nudity, in M I got more tasteful nudity, so pick your poison or throw it away entirely and check my other goofy Safe pieces. I try to balance my output of SFW and NSFW stuff.
• Twitter - Your second best bet! Even though there's low Priority Tbh, I feel Twitter is basically my Newgrounds account but without the erotic stuff, so if you want it completely filtered, that's your best option, but, just like I previously mentioned, with the implementation of AI, I'll take my time to post there.
• Instagram - Uuuuuuh Low Priorities and I kinda hate it and forget about it So yeah... Instagram is my least favorite social network to post art on, but I have it cuz "Some industry fucks might like your shit and follow you" and "It is basically a portfolio", which for me it's kind of bullshit, man... It is a very cold social network, I barely interact with humans there, I love that NG still has forums, even on Twitter I can communicate with folks (For better or for worse) and on Facebook i can show my latest pieces with my best friends IRL and online (Not before glazing it, of course). But with Instagram? I gotta glaze it, gotta crop it out because of their shitty 1:1 resolution format, it has to look good on thumbnail so I make a thumbnail out of the piece and then I post the piece which looks cumbersome and annoying to check, gotta put something on my stories to hype up my stuff, man, it is so annoying, it's a very corporate environment, that's the last thing I want to think about when uploading my stuff; on Newgrounds, it almost feels like a game to crop the piece, to post alt versions, and to put text and my socials... with Instagram, it is a chore. And only for it to not reach anyone, and at times, I get comments from stupid bots. So yeah, honestly, don't follow me on Instagram, there's a reason why I don't put it on my links below my pieces.

I'm not only an artist, but also a weeb, a lot of my art is influenced by japanese manga, I am but another victim of their propaganda, love their video games, their music and manga/anime (Specially the niche ones, you won't see me watching Jujutsu Kaimid or One mid), but above all these, I love Japanese food a lot, that's why I am even working on a comic about it! So, as a creative, it is no brainer that I want to try and cook some myself!

I have been trying it since I was in High school, and it kinda sucked, Sushi is one of those recipes that look easier to prepare than it is, trust me, it's waaaay too easy to fuck it up, I kinda gave up some years ago, but then lately, I decided I should try again and take a different approach, instead of buying expensive shit like salmon, avocado, or crab imitation, I'll just start simple, I decided to cook what's known as "Kappa Maki", just Nori seaweed, rice and cucumbers. That's where the name for that horrible Nickelodeon cartoon came from, btw. So I tried again... And I am happy with the results... This is the first attempt I made on Tuesday 24 of this year.

Cut ain't that good, and I have a hard time properly spreading the rice, also had a hard time cutting it hence why the different sizes. I decided to change to a sharper knife and learn how to spread it better... And so I tried today again.

Again, problems with how I spread the rice, specially on the sides... I ate them so you can't see them but they looked god awful, lol; the cut has improved, tho. The overall presentation and taste? Amazing! And is not because I am making these myself, I genuenly enjoy sitting and eating them, although... Sometimes it is not the same when you make them than when someone else makes them for you, you know? Anyway, Maybe next time I'll finally try again with Imitation crab, cucumber and cream cheese, or maybe I can buy some Tampico Salsa, Sushi with Tampico is amazin! Some people might consider putting other than just a cut of fish a sin, but I am no stickler for how to make REAL sushi. So yeah, just wanted to share this.

So yeah, lately I don't feel as creative as I always have been, y'all can see my most recent pieces have been kind of simple, in a way, so yeah, I ask you, my followers and friends, what should I draw?

You can leave requests as well and I might consider doing them if I like it, ADHD is a bitch that just makes me go "Hmmmm, I dunno" at times so don't feel bad if I don't draw what you comment; this post is A-rated so feel free to suggest some spicy stuff as well, just please, keep it tasteful... I have been dealing with some folks who think all of us, artists who draw NSFW art, are as cumbrained as them and it is driving me insane.

So, I recently bought this game called TCG Card Shop Simulator, personally, I'm not a Simulators player myself, I don't get much enjoyment from playing stuff like Farm Simulators, or The Sims nowadays, I prefer sitting down and playing a cool Roguelike, or a hard as balls platformer, but this, I had to play it, I saw my favorite Hearthstone Youtuber Rarran play it and it looked so damn fun, and the fact I always dreamt of owning a TCG/Board games shop was also a factor that attracted me, and so far, the game has been mad fun for me. At the beginning of it, I had to name my Card shop, and what did I call it? I just thought this for like, 10 seconds, 8 of them was just me laughing my ass off...

It is so stupid, but, as I was playing and kept looking at it, I thought how much I hated how bland it looks, I don't really enjoy looking at that Frutiger font looking ass banner with the silly Pokémon copycat clip art the game has... So I thought... How would I make my OWN card store look like? After all, I'm a graphic design graduate, let's give it a proper identity based on the childish joke I made. And so I took my little pages put together with a stapler I like to call "Sketchbook" and start drafting quick ideas.

I kept playing with the concept of HOT and SINGLES, and if you have ever consumed porn in this hellhole known as the Internet, you'd more likely stumbled on a shady ad offering you to meet with HOT SINGLE WOMEN in your area, so I also had to play with the idea of HOT WOMEN, it was a tall order as some logos just have one element or two merged together, rather than three, like this case. But I ended up going for the most unique one, which was the hot lady holding the card on fire, I know it could be done differently, but being honest, I have a hard time "Killing my darlings", so I went with this one.

I simplified it enough to make it more readable and with less elements, I added some horns to her cuz I love hot demon chicks, and a circle around instead of hair, as I thought of that iconic Simpson's logo for the Hellfish Squad, but maybe that format wasn't that helpful as it wasn't roundy enough, you know? It needed some movement, so I thought maybe something static like a square could work.

And it kinda did, I also fixed the hand and reduced her head as it was very disproportionated. I love how the V shape of her arm looks and I added the term HOT SINGLES using a condensed bold version of the Banschrift font, for the limit of the logo, I used the little space in the E as X's height. one time X felt enough space for the logo without the picture losing pressence.

"Hey, but weren't you making it because of a banner?" Obviously! I also thought about it, keeping the X-height, I feel this one works a little, bettr, I genuenly love brands with a logo and the company's name properly spaced. Imo, I still gotta work with that T in HOT and the SIN part feels a little too tight compared to LES, but, Oh well, this is just me documenting my process so far, one can always improve it.

Next step was making sure resizing the logo makes it so some visual information isn't lost. I did a few tests.

And as always, you can't trust your screen, so I printed it.

So far I like the results, not too much is lost in the smallest size, although I either would edit some stuff or maybe change the smallest permitted size of the pic to something a little bigger (Like the top left one); the halftone gradient helps black and white elements to stand out, I like that. I want to work on the T and O of HOT as I mentioned and, I know I mentioned the SIN in SINGLES feeling tight, but on second look, I kinda like it.

I might work on a colored version, I personally don't like to fuck too much with coloring when it comes to graphic design but if you don't try out shit in life, you'll never succeed. So yeah. Hope you guys like it, also any suggestion or observation is appreciated. I know I studied Graphic design but I am more of an illustrator myself (That's why I made this in Clip Studio and not Adobe Illustrator, lmao).
